Activities in the
frame of the Eurographics Association and support of publications in the field
of Computer Graphics, Visualization and Computer Vision

The EURO project is a continuation of the recent
projects:
- LA09036 - Activities within the frame
of the Eurographics Association and Computer Graphics Society
- LA 111 - Support for Eurographics
Association
- 1P04 LA 240 - Activities in the
frame of Computer Graphics Society and Eurographics
These projects had been supported by the Ministry of
Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
The aim of the EURO
project is to support activities of the project leader in the
fields of computer graphics, visualization and virtual reality.
Namely activities:
- in international non-governmental
organizations, especially within
- at Editorial Boards
meetings of research and scientific journals, especially
meetings of
- within International Program
Committees of research oriented international conferences
and workshops.
The EURO project aims
also to support Czech researchers in publication activities in
scientific journals and at established international conferences.
The project leader will:
- take part at the Eurographics
activities, especially as a member of the Eurographics
Executive Committee and Computer Graphics
International meetings
- actively work as a member of the
Computers & Graphics (Elsevier) and The Visual
Computer (Springer Verlag) Editorial Boards and take a
part at the Editorial Boards meeting
- promote research results of
researchers from the Czech Republic
Budget
- the project budget covers travelling
and lodging expenses only.
